Funeral Held For Boy Who Drowned

A funeral was held Thursday morning for a little boy who drowned at his East El Paso last week. Services for JaDavion Jordan took place at Mission Baptist Church at 9:30 a.m. He was buried at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.

A good Samaritan, Angel Gomez, raised the $11,000 in funeral costs, which include a police escort.

May God's love strengthen JaDavion's family. We pray that they find refuge in knowing that God turns the darkness of death into the dawn of new life. May they envision the loving heart and open arms of Jesus embracing JaDavion as he plays with other little angels.
