The skies will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy with a high of 97º in El Paso. There is a 20% chance of a late day early nighttime storm.

A cool front pushes in from the east overnight adding more low level moisture and causing the air mass to become unstable.  Add the fact that the frontal boundary will move back and forth, there will be areas of heavy rain  Thursday through at least Saturday along with the strong possibility for flash flooding.

High temperatures will fall into the below average 80's Thursday through Saturday because of the cloudy skies and area rainfall.
