Beautiful! Big changes start tonight as clouds push in and the winds increase into the breezy range with a El Paso low of 44º. A Gusty cold front dives in from the northeast Thursday and a Weather system is moving in large amounts of moisture from the Baja of California. These weather features will co0mbine to cool down the Borderland and produce widespread Borderland rainfall and heavy area mountain snowfall!

There is a Winter Weather Watch for the western Slopes of the Sacramento Mountains and the higher elevations for the Gila Wilderness from midnight Thursday through Saturday evening

Thursday night we will see a more active weather pattern as a slow moving Pacific wave moves into the Mexican Baja, into Sonora and then eventually through northern Chihuahua. This system will sweep large amounts of Pacific moisture and produce widespread rain showers starting late Thursday through the weekend.

A stronger Pacific cold front will chill us back down into the 40's and there is a good chance of rain Friday into Saturday. This rain could in turn change to a rain mix because as the chilly weather. Sunday will still be very chilly with a chance of morning rain/snow mix,
