Suspicious Suspect Leads to Warrant Arrest

El Paso, Texas – Officers from the El Paso Police Department’s Central Regional Command arrested one person with an outstanding Burglary of Habitation warrant.

Police say on Monday, August 30th at 4:52 p.m. officers were checking Robert Martinez at the intersection of Dolan and Comanche after some reported a suspicious person.

They say further investigation revealed that Martinez had a Burglary of Habitation warrant out for his arrest from a July 25, 2010 case that occurred in the 500 block of Alicia.

Officers say that case involved the theft of several electronic items.

Maretinez was booked into the El Paso County Jail on a bond of $25,000.
