EL PASO - This week’s Manhunt Monday Most Wanted Fugitive is an individual wanted for a violent family dispute. The target is identified as 28-year-old Andres Montoya.
On Tuesday February 17, sheriff’s deputies went to an apartment complex in the 12100 block of Socorro Road in reference to a family violence call in progress.
Deputies arrived and met with a 27 year-old woman who told authorities that prior to their arrival, she and her baby son were violently assaulted by her ex-common law husband Andres Montoya.
An investigation revealed Montoya had a protective order against him by the victim. He allegedly entered the home through the front door without consent and began punching the victim as she held on to her one year-old son.
As a result of the attack, the one year-old child struck his head on the ground where he suffered a bump and laceration to the right side of his head.
Deputies searched the area for Montoya but were unable to find him.
If you have any information on the whereabouts of Montoya, contact the Sheriff’s Office (915) 546-2280 or Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 566-TIPS (8477).
