Home Builder Confidence Surges
Home builder confidence surges to its highest level in six years. The National Association of Home Builders says confidence among the nation's builders is its highest reading since June of 2006 just before the housing bubble burst.
Any reading below 50 indicates negative sentiment about the housing market, but this month's reading of 41 has many expecting the housing recovery will continue to strengthen. Tthe survey is based on responses from 400 builders across the country.
