Texas Governor Rick Perry says he'll call for a four-year tuition freeze in Texas. Perry proposed that students who enter college as freshmen could lock in at a four-year tuition rate. However, if a student takes longer than four years to graduate, he or she could face tuition increases.
A recent report showed that Texas students are paying 55% more for tuition and fees at state universities than they were a decade ago.
