EL PASO – NewsChannel Nine has received information about an upcoming Community TecH2O Water Festival on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Organizers say children are encouraged to wear their coolest Halloween attire.

It is free and open to the public.

Visitors will find interactive displays, exhibits and videos, as well as demonstration gardens featuring plants that thrive in the hot, dry Chihuahuan Desert environment.

Special games and activities are planned for younger visitors. Children can fish for prizes and build an edible aquifer.

They can also capture clouds produced by the TecH2O cloud machine and discover that there is more to water than meets the eye.
The Community Water Festival is free and offers something for everyone.

For more information, contact the TecH2O Center at 621-2000 or tech2o@epwu.org.
