Healthy Living Class

The El Paso Diabetes Association (EPDA) and Care Improvement Plus, Texas’ largest chronic condition Special Needs Plan, will host a “Healthy Living Class” for seniors living with chronic health conditions, such as diabetes and heart failure. Seniors will learn to prepare delicious, heart-healthy and diabetic-friendly meals, and be instructed on how to perform low-impact exercises. Admission to the event is $10.00 for the general public and free for those 60 and older. In addition, scholarships are available from Care Improvement Plus for those who cannot afford admission.
