If you would like to add your local event to the NewsChannel 9 Events Calendar, please take a moment and review our guidelines, then proceed to submit your event. We will review your entry and, in most cases, it will appear online in seven to ten days.  Please read the directions for entering events carefully. If the information you provide is not entered correctly, it may preclude our ability to post the information.

-We ask that you submit only "events".  We do not consider a store sale an 'event' nor will we list regularly scheduled religious services.

-Events should be submitted at least two weeks prior to the start of the event, but not more than two months before it starts. Events will only display online for the month preceding the event.

-Events must be open to the general public and should appeal to a broad El Paso and/or southern New Mexico audience. (This is not designated as a place for club schedules.)

-The events should be family or community oriented. (Please no "R" or "X" rated events.)

-All events should be sponsored by a recognized organization.

-KTSM NewsChannel 9 reserves the right to review, edit and/or delete any event submitted.

-You must provide your name (contact name) and e-mail address on the lines provided. We do not post this online, but use it to contact you if we have questions about the submission. We will not post submissions without this information.

-In the area where you submit the "location" of the event, please be specific and complete. If possible list the full street address.

-If an event happens on more than one day, list the start date in the 'date' field and indicate in the range of dates in the 'details' section. Please do not submit separate entries for each day, unless the specifics of the event change from day to day.

-Please understand that once you 'submit' and event, it does not go online immediately. We review all submissions before they are posted. Please don't re-enter an event over and over just because it doesn't appear right away.

-Please remember that events may also be posted on our community calendar, which is displayed every morning during NewsChannel 9 Today. E-mail your event or any additional details to evalenzuela@ktsm.com at least two weeks in advance.
