EL PASO - A two-year-operation called "Project Deliverance" targeted drug trafficking organizations running out of the United States.

During a two day sweep in and around El Paso, DEA agents targeted dozens of people believed to be part of a family-based drug organization operating in Southern New Mexico and El Paso...

Federal agents say more than 2,000 people across the country were arrested on drug related charges since the operation began almost two years ago. Thirty-nine were arrested just this week in the Borderland.

NICE!! Its a bitter sweet accomplishment. Criminals are off the streets but taxpayers have to provide all those amenities given to them in jail. Because we are a great country and we can be mean to them when they are in jail. But never the less KUDDOS to all those officers for a job very well done. Thank you for risking your lives to find those criminals.
