The group, Tech Media Network cites a study from a Penn State assistant professor, which found the hour's loss of sleep sends workers to the web, where they spend more time than usual surfing online, particularly entertainment sites.
The reason given is that people exhibit less self-control when they are tired.
The research was based on six years of data from Google.
