Miners Set to Host Price’s Give ‘Em Five Invitational

The UTEP men’s golf team will host the third annual Price’s Give ‘Em Five Invitational this weekend (Oct. 24-26) at the Butterfield Trail Golf Club.

The UTEP soccer team will look to send out its seniors in style with the final two home match-ups of the year set for this weekend. The Miners (10-5-2, 4-2-1 C-USA) will play host to Florida Atlantic at 7 p.m. MT Friday and FIU at 12 p.m.

Miners prep for UTSA

UTEP (3-3, 1-1 Conference USA) and UTSA (2-5, 1-2 C-USA) will meet on Saturday in the Alamodome. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. MT.

Montez named Academy Sports Player to Watch!

Del Valle quarterback Steven Montez has been named the Academy Sports Right Stuff Player to Watch for week 9 of the high school football season.  Montez has over 1700 yards and 30 touchdowns passing for the 7-0 Conquistadors.

NMSU men's golf wins Wimberly Invitational

The New Mexico State men’s golf team won its second straight Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate title with a combined-team score of 18-under-par 834 (276-276-274) at the NM State Golf Course, Tuesday, Oct. 21.

Miners 4th at Herb Wimberly Invitational

The UTEP men’s golf team notched a fourth-place finish at the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate on Tuesday. UTEP fired a closing round of 283 to finish with a one-over par 853 for the tournament (280-290-283).

UTEP women's golf 6th at Blue Raider invite

The UTEP women's golf team concluded the Blue Raider Invitational in Murfreesboro, Tenn. on Tuesday with a sixth-place finish. The Miners shot 920 as a team with rounds of 306, 309 and 305.
