EL PASO - Many local grocery stores are finding that their stock of bottled water, is as depleted as our city's reservoirs.

Stores are working overtime to keep water in stock for their customers. Newschannel 9 spoke to Sun Harvest ,who says they're having a hard time keeping up with the demand for water.

To EPEC SUCKS: If this isn't a real disaster, I don't know what is.

Hmmm....you are a bit late on this. Being an old widow lady, I had to forage water for myself. Of Big 8, Albertson's, Walmart and Sam's, I'd say Walmart was best about restocking. But it wasn't nearly enough. They said they had received a truckload at midnight the night before but it was all sold by daylight. Albtsn's and Big 8 didn't get any extra shipments that I could see. Walmart should have spread a tent in the parking lot and kept it replenished until we get past this difficult time.

When will people plan ahead for events? Imagine if this had been a real disaster!

My suggestion is to save the empty water bottles from the water that we purchase and refill them with boiled water (not boiling), and refrigerate. There, we need to work on solutions and quit focusing on the delemas.
