Teens, Juvenile Arrested After Failed Beer Run

EL PASO – Three teens and one juvenile were arrested on various charges as a result of a corner store theft early morning Wednesday. Police reports revealed that Eduardo Talamantes, Fransisco Castro, Celia Hernandez and a female juvenile were working together when they attempted to steal a bag of chips, a six pack of beer, and two cans of beer from the 7-11 store located on N. Zaragoza.

Store employees were able to retrieve the items as three of the suspects attempted to run to a waiting vehicle driven by Talamantes. The four suspects fled the scene however officers were able to locate all of them a short distance away.  

Talamantes and Castro were booked into the El Paso County Jail on theft charges, and the juvenile was referred to the Juvenile Probation Department for theft. Hernandez  was not booked until Thursday morning due to a medical condition and was charged with theft, possession of narcotic paraphernalia and marijuana under 2 ounces.
