Accused "Beauty Bandit" in court to face charges she ripped off plastic surgeons...
Looking quite a bit better than her disheveled court appearance last week, accused Beauty Bandit Maria Chrysson slinked into a Miami courtroom Wednesday in a stylish black dress, high heels and her newest accessory, an ankle monitoring bracelet.
The 29-year-old, charged with grand theft and possession of fraudulent identification for allegedly stealing Botox and other cosmetic treatments from two different doctors in Miami and Miami Beach, mugged for the cameras but had little to say as she made her way into court this morning.
Chrysson, currently under house arrest and out on $20,000 bail, was making the court appearance to ask permission to leave her apartment to face similar charges related ripping off a third doctor in Fort Lauderdale.
Though not yet charged in the Fort Lauderdale case, it appears charges are imminent.
Chrysson's lawyer said she plans on turning herself in to authorities in Fort Lauderdale on Friday, then bonding out so she can go back under house arrest.
Though she's admitted to the Miami cosmetic rip-offs and said she'll pay restitution, Chrysson's lawyer said she still vehemently denies the Fort Lauderdale theft, said to be about $3,300 worth of Botox treatments.
Chrysson remained mostly silent throughout Wednesday's proceeding.
Afterward, when asked by a reporter whether her long black strands of hair were her natural color, Chrysson simply responded "Yes."
A slight touch of gray was seen, however, in Chrysson's mug shot following her arrest on August 2.
She allegedly told arresting officers she was "having a bad hair day."
Asked Wednesday whether she'd discuss the turn of events that have turned her into a national celebrity, Chrysson said she's not quite ready for her close up.
"Not right now," she said. "I will, soon."
