EL PASO – Former El Paso County Judge Anthony Cobos could be released from jail today.

A bond hearing is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. in Federal Court. FBI agents arrested Cobos at his home Friday morning in connection with the ongoing public corruption investigation.

Cobos is accused of taking part in a "pay-to-play" scheme in 2007. Cobos is charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and deprivation of honest services and mail fraud.
